Where Stories, Strays, & Community Come Together

At Everbright Reading & Rescues™, we believe some of the best things happen when people come together for a purpose.

From books and creativity to rescue animals and community causes, our events are about making connections, creating memories, and finding ways—big and small—to make a difference.

Create. Curate. Collaborate. CONNECT.

Why We're Doing It

Free to Live has spent more than four decades providing lifelong care and second chances to stray, abused, and neglected dogs and cats.

Everbright Reading & Rescues™ was built on the belief that stories and strays both deserve a chance to shine. This event brings those values to life by connecting people, local businesses, and a cause very close to our hearts.

Every donation. Every bid. Every connection. Every person who shows up.

It all adds up.

And together, we can help more tails keep wagging, more cats keep purring, and more stories find their next chapter.

It Takes a Community 🐾

Paws for a Cause wouldn't be possible without the businesses, organizations, and individuals who have stepped forward to help.

We're incredibly grateful to our growing team of community partners for donating auction items, contributing their talents and resources, spreading the word, and helping us turn an idea into something that can make a real difference for the dogs and cats at Free to Live Animal Sanctuary.

Thank You to Our Community Partners

Are you a local business, artist, maker, or community member who would like to join us?

We're currently welcoming contributions for our silent auction and would love to add your name to the growing list of people helping make Paws for a Cause possible.

Together, we can do more than any of us can do alone.

More Events Are on the Way!

Paws for a Cause is only one chapter.

Check back for future author and book events, rescue-related events, community collaborations, virtual happenings, and other opportunities to create, curate, collaborate—and CONNECT.

Because sometimes a single event creates a connection.

And sometimes that connection becomes the beginning of an entirely new story.
